1960s Folding Serving Tray Etagere

This vintage 1960s folding serving tray from the Mercury Series 898 by Carlo Alessi for Alessi is a sophisticated example of functional Italian modernism. The design features three engraved stainless steel plates arranged in a clever folding construction, combining sculptural elegance with practical versatility. The finely engraved surfaces catch the light beautifully, while the polished steel and geometric composition reflect the refined aesthetics associated with Alessi design. Ideal for serving appetizers, sweets, or small dishes, it also works as a striking decorative centerpiece when not in use.
