1970s Marble Bowl, Large Dark Grey Stone Fruit Bowl

This vintage marble bowl from the 1970s is a beautifully sculptural piece of Italian stoneware, crafted from substantial dark grey marble with naturally occurring variations and veining throughout the surface. Its generous proportions and clean, understated form allow the character of the natural stone to take center stage, giving each angle a subtly different appearance. Perfect as a fruit bowl, serving dish, or elegant centerpiece, its substantial weight and timeless silhouette give it a sophisticated presence on a dining table, kitchen island, or sideboard. Equally striking when displayed empty, this versatile piece combines functionality with the quiet elegance of natural materials.
