Elegant geometric oak side table by Henning Nørgaard for Komfort Møbler, Denmark 1970s

Elegant geometric side table designed by Henning Nørgaard for Komfort Møbler, Denmark 1970s. This refined piece embodies the clean architectural language of Scandinavian modern design, featuring a beautifully solid oak frame with balanced proportions and a light, open structure. The precise geometric construction highlights the quality of the craftsmanship and the warm natural grain of the oak. The table is topped with a smoked glass plate that appears to float above the wooden frame, supported by subtle corner posts, creating a sophisticated contrast between transparency and solid material. Its minimalist yet sculptural presence makes it a versatile piece, suitable as a side table, occasional table, or compact coffee table in both modern and vintage interiors. The table remains in good vintage condition with minor signs of age consistent with use. The glass top has a small chip on one corner, which is hardly noticeable but mentioned for accuracy. A timeless example of 1970s Danish design combining simplicity, functionality, and elegant craftsmanship.
