Ito Brass Floor Lamp

The Ito floor lamp embodies the transience of life’s passing moments that we often wish to hold on to. It is an ode to the beauty of the ephemeral experiences that keep the momentum of life flowing. Ito comprises individual strands of soft cotton threads suspended freely from a brass frame, cast from hand-sculpted patterns exploring the essence of the human touch and the natural beauty of impermanence through contrasting materials. The form appearing as a solid cuboid volume from afar, reveals an airy, light character as the wind blows, mesmerising the viewer with its warm glow. The product is carefully crafted by master artisans and is produced in small batches, making it challenging, if not impossible, to create identical items. Therefore, any natural blemishes or irregularities should not be viewed as flaws. Production marks may include slight pour ripples or surface pitting that contribute to the uniqueness of each handmade piece.
