Antonina Turnau Kondratowa creates kimonos and kilims. A Polish artist by education, a tennis player by passion, born and bred in Cracow, she designed the City tapestry with humility, following the strictest rules of kilim making. Meticulously calculated horizontal lines are arranged in the form of vertical solids reminiscent of soaring skyscrapers of a great metropolis.
