Vintage Model 387 Travertine Floor Lamp by Tito Agnoli for Oluce, Italy, 1960s

An elegant example of Italian modernist lighting, the Model 387 floor lamp was designed by Tito Agnoli for Oluce during the 1960s. Celebrated for its refined proportions and sculptural simplicity, the design perfectly balances industrial precision with the warmth of natural materials. The lamp features a slender nickel-plated steel stem mounted on a substantial solid travertine base, creating a striking contrast between polished metal and richly textured stone. Its distinctive character is defined by the original Cornalux "Hammerhead" light bulb, whose elongated shape functions as both the light source and the visual focal point of the design. The bulb can be adjusted to direct the light as desired, adding both functionality and sculptural presence. With its minimalist aesthetic and timeless material palette, the Model 387 is equally suited to contemporary and classic interiors, serving as both an atmospheric light source and an iconic collectible piece of Italian design.
